Paul McPherson is a certified BVA panel member who accepts eye referrals from local first opinion practices and carries out BVA panel testing and certification. He currently works from the Minster Veterinary Centre Southwell practice, Tuesday to Thursday.

Booking BVA panel work

To book any BVA panel work, please contact our Southwell branch. The BVA panel work requires a split appointment and paperwork preparation so please allow at least an hour for the appointment. Please make reception aware that you are booking BVA work to ensure that you are booked in the appropriate time slot.

On booking reception will require: 
Your name, address and accessible contact phone numbers 
Animal details (breed, age, sex and quantities)

When you arrive: 
Your animal(s) require a working microchip or readable tattoo 
You will need to provide the original Kennel Club registration certificate(s) 
You should bring any previous testing certificates 
For litter screens you should bring the Sire and Dam registration documents

Information for referring vets

Please contact reception with the client details and recent history before sending a referral letter and relevant clinical history to ensure that Mr McPherson is available. Our other vets are more than happy to help but may not have the referral knowledge you require for your client.

Please can clients refrain from arranging appointments for Mr McPherson while under the care of another practice, if you feel you require a second opinion or referral, please request this via your vet.
